General
The design philosophy was based on the requirement for a self contained high integrity Generator Package available for reliable continuous full power operation for 2000hrs unattended periods.
The generator was rated at 40kWe(59kVa @ 0.8PF), with an overload capacity of 110% for 1hr in 12hr and an output of 415v/3ph/50Hz
| Diesel Engine: | Deutz F6L912 air cooled, with 24 DC start, Lube oil sump: 250 Litres. |
| Alternator: | Leroy Somer. |
| Baseframe: | Steel incorporating lube oil tank, driptray. |
| Enclosure: | 316 stainless steel, noise reduction to 83dBA @ 1 metre, 2 hinged access doors each side, aspiration and cooling air via a two stage filter/coalescer. |
| Fuel Tank: | S/S 350 Litres for 24 hr operation. |
